This week’s Liverpool ECHO lists 57 tributes, deaths, and funeral notices, honoring those who have passed.

Thomas and Alma married in 1957. They moved from Liverpool to Calgary in 1965. He retired as a valued specialist, after working at a Calgary firm. He started his career as a dockyard labourer.
He loved music and cruises to Princess. His Mercedes E420 gave him joy, and he liked trips to Banff and Kananaskis. Thomas supported his family greatly; people will remember his great qualities.
His grandchildren are Kevin and Carrie-Anne. Ariel, Ciara, and Rinka are his great-grandchildren. John Butler and Mary Black are his siblings. John Black is his brother-in-law. Many nieces, nephews, and friends survive him.
Alma, his wife, and his son, Colin Gedling, died before him. A viewing will be held February 9, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral is February 9, 2025, at 2 p.m. Both are at McInnis & Holloway, Calgary. The family invites people to a reception afterward.
The service will be streamed online for those who cannot attend, and a recording will also be available to view later. People can donate to The War Amps in his memory. Online condolences and memories can be shared. McInnis & Holloway will plant a tree in his memory at a conservation area.
