Lincolnshire Half Term Fun Free and Cheap Activities for Kids

School’s out for half term! It can be hard to find fun things to do, especially keeping everyone entertained without spending loads. Here are some things in Lincolnshire to check out. These ideas keep costs low for your family.

Lincoln has a free light festival that happens on February 20 and 21. See cool lights across the city from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Wyndham Park in Grantham provides free crafts from February 18 to 21, between 11 AM and 3 PM. Everyone can enjoy card making and coloring fun together.

Lincoln Youth Matters has free activities on February 18 near Yarborough Leisure Centre. Enjoy crafts, plus stories, and circus skills. Some activities need booking ahead.

Sleaford’s Navigation House is a great place to be. Free activities happen from 10 AM to 2 PM. Visit on February 17, 21, 22, or 23 for fun, and let the kids get creative here.

Kids get into Lincolnshire Wildlife Park free this month, but adults still need tickets. Adult tickets cost £14.95, and the park opens daily from 9:30 AM to 4 PM. Ages three to fifteen usually cost £10.50 to enter.

Magna Vitae offers free sports with the council. Check out activities in several locations, including North Somercotes and Binbrook. Wragby, Alford, and Spilsby participate, and Wainfleet, Coningsby, Tattershall, and Horncastle are also involved. Check their Facebook for schedules.

Gainsborough presents Illuminate 2025 on February 21, which is a free light event. There is a lantern parade and a fire garden. Enjoy projections at Gainsborough Old Hall, starting at 6 PM and ending at 8 PM.

The Lincoln Museum has a quest for kids to find a missing key. They can build sculptures inspired by the Land exhibit. The quest at the desk is free, but the craft activities have extra charges.
