The funeral for Leo Ross, 12, will be held on March 5, following his tragic death in Hall Green. A suspect will appear in court.

Leo was walking home from school when this happened near Scribers Lane in Hall Green. Someone stabbed him.
His family gave a statement, saying Leo was kind and amazing. They added they would miss him greatly.
The funeral is on March 5, a Wednesday. The procession starts at 8 AM, beginning at his school, Christ Church Secondary Academy.
The ceremony is at 10 AM, at Robin Hood Cemetery. The cemetery is on Streetsbrook Road in Shirley. The family said everyone loved Leo, and he meant so much to them.
People held vigils to remember Leo. A mural now honors him in Hall Green, near where he died.
Timothy Huxtable, a local councillor, will attend Leo’s funeral to show community support. Huxtable praised the family’s fundraising efforts for the Daniel Baird Foundation.
A boy, age fourteen, will appear in court on April 22 at Birmingham Crown Court. He faces charges relating to Leo’s death, including murder, possessing a blade, and assault.
