Main road in Leicestershire to endure five-phase roadworks, causing expected disruption and diversions.

Leicestershire County Council made the order for public safety. Multiple streets in Ratby will be affected. The council says that workers will split the project into five parts.
Work starts February 15, a Saturday, between two roads. Taverner Drive meets Park Road there. This first stage will take two days to finish. All repairs should finish during half-term. This should make things easier for the village and drivers.
Here is the full repair plan with all the phases: The first phase lasts two days. It affects the road between Taverner Drive and Park Road. Phase two, only one day, goes from Park Road to Brook Drive.
Phase three will take two days. Contractors will work between Danehill and Desford Lane. That includes Desford Lane’s junction. Phase four is one day long. It covers Desford Lane to Stamford Street. Finally, phase five only lasts one day. Workers will be on Stamford Street to Markfield Road.
The closures run from February 15 to February 23, Saturday to Sunday. The council says weather affects this schedule. Dates could change if weather gets bad.
Diversion routes will have signs. You can find more information on the one.network website. That includes details about all diversions.
