Free play sessions launch across Leicestershire this week for parents and carers with children aged 0-2.

The sessions are for parents and carers with babies and toddlers age 0-2. Interactive play, sensory fun, and messy play are the focus. ‘Mini Movers’ and language training are also included.
These sessions are part of the Family Hub ‘Start for Life’ program. Last year, over 200 kids participated. These activities help develop kids’ skills.
Some sessions are drop-in, while others require pre-booking. Examples include “Let’s get Messy” which helps sensory development, “Tip Top Talkers” which improves communication skills, and “Little Senses” which awakens early brains. Energetic sessions encourage coordination.
These sessions continue until April 17. Find more info online by searching ‘Family Hubs Leicestershire’. Play is key for early childhood development, and the sessions help families bond, learn, and have fun by supporting simple, engaging activities.
