Kinchbus confirms a five percent fare hike starting this Sunday due to rising fuel and maintenance costs.

The price hike starts this Sunday, February 23rd. It is due to increased fuel and maintenance costs. Expect an increase of about five percent.
Zigzag Plus for one person goes up slightly, costing £11.90 instead of the old price. The Zigzag Plus Duo will be £17.50, also a small increase.
Zigzag Plus lets you ride Kinchbus and Trentbarton all day, including Skylink Derby, and lasts until 4 AM. The group ticket will stay at £21.50, allowing up to five people to use it.
The £3 fare cap single trip is not changing at this time. However, other single fares will go up around five percent, while fares for children under ten will not increase.
Kinchbus said costs like fuel keep rising. They tried to keep fare increases small, and discounted tickets still offer good value.
The Mango App gives 10% off some single tickets exceeding £3. Concession discounts remain available as well. An adult 7-day cap will be £44, and £28.50 for young people.
Kinchkard prices will now reflect the Mango caps. Ten trips in Loughborough will cost £22 for adults, and young people will pay only £17. Check online for details on all the new fares.
