Lukasz Albert Strag, 44, nicknamed Roztrzepany, died in HMP Birmingham while serving a 20-year drug sentence.

He ran an international drug operation, moving Class A drugs from Europe to the UK.
Officials will investigate his death, which happened at HMP Birmingham. An inquest started on January 30 at a coroner’s court, but they released no details. We don’t know how he died in prison. The prison is a category B facility.
Strag moved drugs across Europe, working between Poland, Spain, and the Netherlands. His network supplied several drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, cannabis, and amphetamines. He had to repay over £1.3 million after being convicted at Birmingham Crown Court.
The final inquest is set for July 14 at the same coroner’s court. The hearing should last three hours. HM Prison and Probation Service runs the prison. A news source asked them for their comment.
