The Leicester 10k race is back! Expect road closures and travel difficulties. Closures start Saturday, ending Sunday.

The race is on Sunday, March 2. Runners of all skill levels can join. It starts at Jubilee Square and then goes through Victoria Park.
The route passes Leicester University, Leicester Cathedral, and other spots. Runners then finish strong, and many people will be in Leicester that day. Road closures keep everyone safe.
Road closures happen between 5 AM and 1 PM. Parking is restricted too. Restrictions begin Saturday, March 1 at 4 PM and end Sunday, March 2, at 1 PM.
Jubilee Square roads close at 5 AM, and other route closures start at 8:15 AM. Roads reopen by 11:30 AM, while Jubilee Square reopens at 1 PM.
Run For All organizes the Leicester 10K. They want to minimize issues for everyone and will reopen roads quickly. They thank everyone for their patience.

A single lane closure exists on London Road and Welford Road. Victoria Park Road stays open. Runners will use the bike path there.
