Leeds Speed Camera Locations This Week: Where To Watch Your Speed

Mobile speed cameras are in Leeds this week. Police place cameras where speeding causes accidents, using this to prevent future crashes. Frequent enforcement stops speeding related incidents. Cameras use lasers to check car speeds.

Here are camera locations planned for this week, noting that these locations might change.

Some 30 mph zones have speed cameras. You’ll find them on Wakefield Road and Otley Road. Cameras are also on Broad Lane and Otley Old Road. Look for cameras on Whitehall and King Lane. Queenswood Drive and Dewsbury Road also have them. Watch out on Harewood Road and Tong Road, and note that Penistone Road also has a camera.

Some 40 mph areas have speed cameras. Dewsbury Road in Woodkirk and Easterly Road both have them. Harrogate Road also does. Check Leeds Road in Rothwell for cameras, as they are also on Methley’s main road. Stanningley Road and Leeds Road in Pool have locations. Carr Road and Abbey Road have cameras too. Bradford Road also has mobile cameras.

Some 50 mph roads have speed cameras active. Gelderd Road in Gildersome has one setup. The East Leeds Orbital road and Selby Road in Swillington also have cameras.
