A police officer was seriously hurt after being struck in the face with a brick in Leeds, sparking a manhunt.

Plain clothes officers were investigating in Leeds. They were in an unmarked car. A brick came through the window and hit an officer. It happened on Monday at 6 PM. The officer needed hospital care.
The suspect wore dark clothes and had a face covering. He yelled at the officers while a passenger on a bike. The bike followed the police car.
Detectives are checking it out and have released CCTV images showing the suspects.
Police want to hear from witnesses who saw the attack or have helpful information, CCTV, or dashcam footage.
The police leader called it shocking and stated that attacks on officers are not okay. They are dedicated to finding those involved, and the injured officer gets support.
