Find out where mobile speed cameras will be operating in Leeds this week to improve road safety and reduce accidents.

West Yorkshire Police places these cameras for the West Yorkshire Camera Partnership. The cameras use lasers to check car speeds, with the hope that fewer accidents happen. They want drivers to slow down.
These locations are correct now, but could change later. Here’s where the speed cameras are in Leeds this week.
These roads have a 30 mph speed limit: A61 Wakefield Road, Rothwell, between Middleton Lane and Leadwell Lane; A65 Otley Road in Guiseley, between A6038 Bradford Road and B6153 Park Road; Broad Lane in Sandford, between Whitecote Hill and Waterloo Lane; and Otley Old Road, from Holtdale Approach to Spen Lane. A58 Whitehall Road in Drighlington, King Lane in Leeds, Queenswood Drive, Dewsbury Road between Victoria Road and Holmes Street, Harewood Road, Tong Road, and A635 Penistone Road are also included.
These roads have a 40 mph speed limit: A653 Dewsbury Road in Woodkirk, A58 Easterly Road, A61 Harrogate Road in Alwoodley, and A639 Leeds Road in Rothwell. A639 in Methley, Stanningley Road in Bramley, A660 Leeds Road, A657 Carr Road, A65 Abbey Road, and A647 Bradford Road are also listed as 40 mph sites.
These roads have a 50 mph speed limit. A62 Gelderd Road in Gildersome, A6120 East Leeds Orbital road, and A63 Selby Road in Swillington have cameras.
