Ian Smith is crowned “Champion of Champions” by the Ice Cream Alliance, cementing his status as a top ice cream vendor.
The Ice Cream Alliance gave him this honor, and they give awards for excellence each year. This year was different; they had a “Champion of Champions” round.
Ice cream man Ian Smith won big, running Ian Super Whippy Limited. He happily accepted his new award and believes he is the top guy in the country.
Ian explained his goal: he wants to be excellent at everything. He feels this award validated his efforts, as he works hard to be the very best.
Ian also won in the year 2020, which was a tough year with lockdowns. Winning helped his business a lot, and he got more work and contracts then.
Ian comes from an ice cream family; his father started way back in 1962. Ian helped him out since he was twelve, and in 1987, Ian started his own thing.
He has seven cool retro ice cream vans, and he keeps selling ice cream all year. He operates his business across Leeds.
Ed Whitby handed out the award, and he is Operations Director at Whitby Morrison. He felt honored to be among legends and enjoyed giving the award to Ian.
Ed stated Ian is a great person to represent ice cream, as he acts as a leading ambassador. Whitby Morrison feels very proud to be connected; they are tied to Ian, the Champion of Champions.
