Police impounded a Lamborghini in Manchester city center due to driver’s insurance.

Officers were patrolling Saturday night when they performed checks on the car. The Lamborghini did not have proper insurance coverage, prompting further action.
A photo circulating on social media showed the black car parked. A sticker on the rear window clearly indicated “NO INSURANCE” and “SEIZED BY POLICE.”
Greater Manchester Police issued a statement, explaining officers spotted the car and the driver did not follow insurance rules. As a result, police seized the vehicle and reported the driver.
Driving without insurance is illegal; a policy is required for each vehicle, even for temporary use. The government website details the penalties.
These penalties include a £300 fine and potentially six license points. More serious cases escalate to court, where fines become unlimited, and the driver could even lose their license.
Police have the authority to impound uninsured cars, and in extreme cases, vehicles can be destroyed, but only with a court order.
