Sleep Easy event aids YMCA Leicestershire, raising funds & awareness for youth homelessness. Participants experience rough sleeping.

The event happens next month. You get a stadium tour and a hot breakfast. YMCA helps homeless people locally, and they hope to boost awareness of youth homelessness too.

This event allows everyone to unite. They want to fight against youth homelessness in our community. Spending one night sleeping rough can be tough.participants experience hardship directly. Many people have signed up already.
Teams from work and lawyers are participating. Simon Hatchman experienced it last year. He wanted to understand rough sleeping better, and he found it harder than he thought it would be.
The Sleep Easy event started in 2023. They have raised over £45,000 so far. The YMCA has helped young people for 140+ years. This year’s Sleep Easy is on March 19th.
