Police in Kenya investigate if a Scottish man’s death, discovered in a sack, involved drug use. Awaiting toxicology reports.

Campbell, aged 58, was from Dunfermline, Fife. He visited Nairobi for work and vanished a week before his body appeared. His wrists and legs were tied, and his hands showed injuries. Abduction and murder are possible theories.
An initial autopsy was unclear, leaving medical experts puzzled. His head injuries weren’t fatal. Therefore, they are reviewing evidence to understand his last moments.
Further tests are underway, including toxicology reports. Sources suggest he may not have been murdered. They are exploring if drugs played a role.
A reporter mentioned a performance-enhancing pill. Scott may have had problems at Pipeline Estate in Nairobi. That was his last known location, and his injuries might not come from an attack.
Campbell arrived on February 15th. He was attending a three-day conference. He worked for FICO as a senior director. Friends remember him fondly, and shared photos of them partying with him.
One friend, Abi Roberts, is shocked. Campbell helped her move nearby in 2020. They often had coffee together and talked. Campbell was good to her, she said, and he offered to get her things from shops. She last saw him before her trip to Cape Town. He mentioned going to Kenya then.
Another friend, Jason Benterman, is devastated. He remembered Campbell as funny and kind, and sends condolences to his family and partner, Si Farrar. A photo was taken on February 8th.
