Raids in Kent result in arrests and the seizure of drugs, weapons, and cash as part of a national operation.

This was part of a big national effort called Operation Mille, done in February. Its goal was to stop cannabis farms, and police wanted to arrest people involved in them.
From February 14th to 25th, they searched eight places. These towns included Rochester, Meopham, Greenhithe, Maidstone, and Tonbridge.
In Greenhithe and Dartford, police arrested four men from London on February 16th. They found cannabis plants there and seized drug dealing tools. Three more people were arrested in Tonbridge after searches on February 19th. Police seized cannabis, fake guns, cash, and drug bags.
In Maidstone, police seized cocaine and £1,100 on February 21st. A man was charged with intent to supply cocaine and with possessing criminal property. He went to court and remains in custody.
In Meopham, over 140 cannabis plants were seized from an outbuilding and garage on February 17th, and the investigation is ongoing. In Rochester, police seized 40 plants on February 14th during another search.
A police inspector said drug activity causes problems and is tied to other crimes, like violence and exploitation. Cannabis farms can damage property, and buildings can become fire hazards. Police want to keep Kent safe and will continue arrests and court cases.
