Suspect in Lisa Smith murder at The Three Horseshoes pub died after fall into Thames. Police investigated.

Lisa Smith was from Slough. She was shot near the busy pub, and police think the suspect fell from a bridge, specifically the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge at Dartford, which is about 17 miles away. The suspect knew Lisa Smith and was named Edvard Stockings or Smith.
Police found a car on the bridge with a handgun inside. Someone saw a man on the wrong side of the barrier, but police haven’t found his body yet.
Detective Dave Higham spoke about the case, stating that they fully investigated Lisa’s murder and that he believes the suspect died in the Thames.
Many groups helped search the river, including the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade, and the Coastguard. They haven’t found a body so far, and searches continue as the investigation progresses. Police are working on reports for the coroner, acknowledging that the murder took a daughter and a mother, expressing thoughts for Lisa’s family.
Michelle Thomas, who runs The Three Horseshoes, described customers’ reactions to the shooting, mentioning they screamed, shouted, and cried. Around 30 people ate dinner at the pub, and about 20 more were in the bar when the incident happened shortly after 7 pm. The police confirmed the suspect knew the victim and that neither the victim nor suspect had prior police contact.
