Joanne was found dead July 1. This happened in Droitwich. Emergency services declared her death that day. The jury deliberated for almost ten hours.

Mohamed was a hockey coach. He was accused of murdering his wife. He allegedly stabbed her. The incident happened at their Droitwich home. It occurred early on July 1 last year.

Mohamed claimed he woke up to a scream. He said Joanne was stabbing herself. It was around 3 AM. He previously played hockey for Egypt and coached Wales’ under-18 team.

Prosecutors believed he killed Joanne. They thought marriage issues caused it. He allegedly allegedly liked another woman. Also, financial problems arose.

The judge accepted a majority verdict of ten to one. The jury still could not decide. After more than nine hours, he discharged them. This happened Monday, February 24. The case will be mentioned March 17. This happens at Worcester Crown Court.
