Annib Khan is accused of murdering his uncle, Mohammed Osman Khan, in Dudley, following a family dispute.

The incident took place at his grandmother’s house. Annib denies all charges of murder and wounding. Zayn is also on trial, denying a charge of affray. Zayn is Mohammed’s son and is 21 years old. The alleged attack followed an earlier dispute.
The judge asked the jury to begin deliberations. The trial revealed a history of problems, with Annib claiming his uncle bullied him. Earlier that day, they argued at a mosque, and another man intervened to stop them. Later, they argued again near the mosque.
Annib went to his grandmother’s house. Zayn arrived soon after in his car, and Mohammed then arrived in a white van. Zayn was angry and wanted to confront Annib. His father tried to stop him from entering, leading to a confrontation inside the house.
A metal bar was then used during the fight, and Annib suffered a head injury, causing bleeding. Annib and Mohammed then exited the house, very close to each other. Annib held a knife, and Mohammed had a metal bar.
Prosecutors argue Annib forced Mohammed into his van and then stabbed him in the neck. Mohammed collapsed, says the prosecution, and Annib went back inside, carrying the knife and the metal bar. Zayn then stumbled out, injured.
Prosecutors say Annib stabbed Zayn at this time. During the trial, both men claimed self-defense. Annib said he did not know the knife connected, adding that his uncle was a drug dealer and had threatened him before.
Annib stated his uncle tried to run him over and police knew about issues between them. Officers had asked him to leave for safety. Zayn said he saw Annib with the bar and feared Annib would attack his father. Zayn said he put Annib in a headlock, and that his dad hit Annib with the bar, jurors heard.
