Road markings and anti skid material will be installed at a busy Hull junction following resurfacing work.

The junction of Ferensway and Anlaby Road got new surface. Weather and lots of cars caused damage. The council explained the next work steps.
The work should begin Saturday, March 1. The junction will close overnight for the work. The road markings and surfacing will be high quality.
The closure starts at 8 p.m. It ends at 6 a.m. the next day. You can turn onto Anlaby Road from Ferensway, going north. All other turns will be restricted then.
Councillor Mark Ieronimo commented on the investment. He stated that they listened to local residents. The council is pleased with the repair quality. It’s a key route. Adding road markings is very important, he said.
Installing anti-skid surfacing will finish it. This is the very last thing to do there. He said sorry for the brief disruption. He thanked drivers for their patience. He also thanked the public for being understanding.
