A drug dealer orchestrated heroin and crack cocaine sales from his prison cell with an accomplice’s help.

Justin and Alexander, both aged 24, ran the JJ line. It supplied crack and heroin to Chester. This occurred from January to June 2024. Suspicion arose when Justin ran from police. He dropped two cell phones while fleeing.
Forensics linked him to the phones. One phone was the JJ line to Chester. The other phone dealt cannabis and cocaine in L7. Police identified Justin as the JJ line controller. He was arrested and held in custody.
Despite this, the JJ line kept running. Alexander directed it while Justin was in jail. In June 2024, police searched Alexander’s place. He wasn’t there, but they seized his phone. They downloaded data from his phone.
The phone showed Justin gave instructions from prison. He oversaw the drug line from inside. On July 1, police arrested Alexander. He was in Liverpool. They found heroin and crack cocaine.
Justin received a nine-year prison sentence. He was convicted of drug supply charges. These charges were linked to Project Medusa. It targets county lines drug dealing. Alexander got five years in jail. He was convicted of supplying class A drugs. He also had intent to supply crack and heroin.
