A dad from Wrexham died at home. An inquest revealed he had bad facial injuries. Police went to his house on February 23. The house was on the Gwynant estate in Acrefair. Michael Platt worried about his friend Craig Richardson.

Craig Richardson was 37. He was found dead in his bed. John Gittins held a short hearing in Ruthin. Gittins is a Senior Coroner. A pathologist named Dr. Brian Rodgers examined the body. Blood from facial injuries caused him to suffocate.

Thomas Iveson, aged 30, faces a murder charge. He lives on Llyndir Lane, in Burton, Rossett. He denies the charge. He will go to trial this October. The trial will be at Mold Crown Court. He is in custody right now.

Another Wrexham man got arrested too. He is 32 years old. Police arrested him related to the murder. They released him later. They are still investigating.

The coroner stopped the inquest for now. Craig’s body stays unavailable for burial. A second autopsy might be necessary. The family described Craig as “full of fun.” He was a loving person to many.
