Terrible photos showed a murdered Scottish man. His body was found in a sack in Kenya. Campbell Scott was from Dunfermline. They discovered his body near Nairobi in a forest area on Saturday, February 22. His hands and legs were tied with rope.

Kenyan police will do an autopsy and have arrested two people in connection with the case. The graphic images appear to show his remains lying at the scene, as reported by The Daily Record newspaper.

Scott arrived in Nairobi on February 15 for a business trip and stayed in Westlands. He was last seen on February 16 with a man they don’t know when they went to a nightclub.

CCTV footage showed his last movements, walking through a car park, wearing a top with the Scotland flag and shorts. The video was released yesterday.

A disturbing picture appeared online, looking like Scott’s body in the same clothes, lying on his back on an open sack. The photo was shared on social media.

Pineapples lay next to him in the picture. Authorities found them in the sack with the body. It’s thought the killers acted like fruit sellers to fool people at roadblocks.

Another image showed an Adidas trainer sticking out from the sack, which was in the undergrowth. Someone posted, “May God punish those who did that”.

Scott attended a conference at the JW Marriott hotel, staying there with his work friends. He was a director at FICO, a company that scores credit.

Police received a report on Saturday that a herder found a body in a sack. They later identified the body as Campbell Scott and found it in the Makongo Forest. This was confirmed on Monday.

Local media reported that he was tortured and showed signs of strangulation. An autopsy will happen soon. Two men have been arrested for the death: a taxi driver and a waiter at a nightclub.

FICO expressed their heartbreak, stating that Scott had worked there since 2014. They said they would miss his humor and kindness.

The CCTV image was taken before he went missing in Nairobi on February 16. He visited bars and nightspots that Sunday and, according to local media, seemed happy and talked to the hotel staff.

He left his hotel at 11:15 am that Sunday. His friends thought he would walk to beat jet lag before his talk, but he didn’t come back. They called his phone at 6 pm and 7 pm, but it didn’t work.

They informed the police, and a search started. Interpol joined the investigation. UK officials and Nairobi police went to Makueni on Monday after the body was found in a green sack on Saturday.

The Foreign Office said they are helping his family and are in contact with Kenyan authorities.
