They used a rope system to climb down. One rescuer went down with the climber. They reached safer ground together. The team finished the rescue.

They walked the climber down after dark. They told climbers to have the right gear. Climbers should also have enough experience.

A rescue team person spoke about Saturday’s event. A man got stuck after slipping on ice. It happened while climbing Central Gully.

The team made a climbing safety system. They used ropes to lower the man safely. Then they walked him off the mountain. The rescue ended around 7:30 PM.

They said to be prepared for winter conditions. Experienced climbers need proper winter gear. Ice axes and crampons are essential.

The team returned to the mountain the next day. They did training to stay ready for rescues. They wanted to be prepared for anything.
