Iceland’s Derbion store will close February 22, ahead of its relocation to London Road in Derby as part of city center changes.

The move is part of bigger city center changes. Derbion is working on some cool new projects, and they want to make the space better.
Iceland will move to London Road, near the Cosmo restaurant. They are known for their frozen foods.
Flyers told Derby residents about the move. The current Iceland closes February 22 at 4 PM. This is on Saturday.
Derbion is working on Albion Walk and the Eastern Gateway, which is at the Morledge intersection. Older buildings will come down too.
The old Eagle Market entrance will be demolished. Also, the Castle and Falcon pub is already gone. These buildings were there since 1970.
Derbion wants to make more modern spaces. The Eastern Gateway project finishes this summer, featuring a new facade and urban garden. This update faces the bus station.
