A new Starbucks drive-thru is planned for Huntingdon’s Towerfields Leisure Park, replacing a former pizza restaurant.

The new Starbucks could create 20 to 25 jobs. Huntingdon already has two Starbucks locations: one at St Germain Walk and another at Brampton Hut services on the A1.
Starbucks believes Huntingdon needs another store. They said the new store won’t hurt existing ones but will give residents more choices for leisure.
Other restaurants at the leisure park include Bella Italia, KFC, and McDonalds, alongside Nandos. Six parking spots will be lost, though two accessible spaces will remain, and customers can use a shared parking area.
Starbucks has over 40,000 stores globally, including some in Cambridgeshire, such as in Cambridge and Peterborough. Ely and Wisbech also have Starbucks locations.
The council, Huntingdonshire District Council, will decide on the Starbucks plan later. You can see the plans online using reference number 25/00287/FUL.
