Hull Trains donated defibrillators to Bloodfast, enhancing emergency response across their East Coast route.

Bloodfast often arrives first at incidents, going to Beverley, Doncaster, and other towns on Hull Trains’ East Coast route. Hull Trains’ director feels good about the gift; saving one life makes a huge difference.
Experts say using a defibrillator within five minutes of collapse helps increase survival rates greatly. They might rise as much as 70%.
Hull Trains also donated snack boxes to Bloodfast’s first responders, who can eat between emergency calls. Their work schedule makes planning meals hard.
Customers like the onboard snack boxes too, with choices including Ploughman’s, tapas and plant-based. A Bloodfast driver thanked Hull Trains, saying these gifts help them a lot.
The driver said they needed defibrillators but could not afford them as a charity. He knows the devices will save lives later, and the donation means a lot to Bloodfast.
