Home Decor Hull closes after 30 years with a final sale. Owners thank customers for their support.
Home Decor Hull is located at 614 Holderness Road. The family business announced the closure online. They have been open for over 30 years. Their last day will be February 28th, a Friday.
The shop will open every day until they close to meet customer demand. Weekdays will feature extended hours until 8 PM. Saturday hours are until 5 PM, and Sunday hours end at 2 PM.
Mark Robinson spoke about the final weeks. He noted final reductions on everything and said customer turnout exceeded expectations.
They decided to open daily because of demand. They want to give customers a chance to shop and added weekday evenings until 8 PM to help people shop after work.
Closing is a shame, Robinson said, but is glad customers get cheap wallpaper. They are selling quality items for less.
Owners said they restocked shelves recently and brought down designs from the stock room. They sold thousands of rolls during the sale, so the stock room is almost empty now.
The wallpaper costs £10 a roll or less, though designer rolls may cost more. They claim you can’t find prices this low anywhere else.
Home Decor Hull sells washable wallpaper and designer decor. Brands include Versace and Ted Baker. Morris and Co. are also available, and sculptures and mirrors are for sale.
