A new fish and chip shop opened in Edinburgh. It’s at the Ocean Terminal shopping center. Many locals lined up before the opening, and staff cut a ribbon to celebrate the event.

Mother Hubbard’s opened the new restaurant on February 21. It’s located on the third floor of the Leith mall. They sell classic dishes and new versions.

The first hundred customers got food for 45p. Other orders were half price that day. Families and kids greeted the staff and mascot. They shared videos of the long line on Instagram.

Many bags sat ready for food orders. The indoor seating area was full of people. They enjoyed their meals together, and staff prepared many bags for pickup.

The restaurant thanked locals for their support. They are open daily from noon to ten PM. The menu has fish and chips, pies, and sandwiches. They also serve sides and kids’ meals. New “fiery” dishes are also available.

The restaurant aims for a modern yet classic feel. They want to remind you of childhood. Ocean Terminal has stores, restaurants, and a gym. It also has a cinema and the Royal Yacht Britannia.
