Early morning fire in Coventry damages a house first floor. Firefighters responded quickly. Nobody was injured.

Firefighters got the call after 12:25 a.m. Fire crews came from Coventry, Foleshill, and Binley. This fire was on the first floor of a regular two-story house that sits on a typical city street.
When the firefighters arrived, nobody was inside, thankfully. They evacuated the houses next door and checked those houses for damage, too. But those homes were all okay.
The fire service said they got to Bramble Street very quickly, shortly after 12:25 a.m. Three fire engines and a special 4×4 truck showed up; firefighters arrived in just three minutes.
They found the fire on the first floor causing lots of damage from flames and smoke. Firefighters wore special gear to enter and put out the fire before airing out the house and checking nearby houses.
Police came to keep people away and manage the area. Firefighters left around 4:15 a.m., making sure the fire was completely out. A fire investigator is looking into why it started today, and another fire crew is there, too.
