Hoole is now a very cool UK spot. People compare it to London’s Notting Hill. It has cool shops, bars, and nice old houses. These houses were for railway workers. Now, many people want to live there.

Chester train station is just ten minutes away. Liverpool is about forty minutes by car. Hoole won an award in 2016. It was Great British High Street of the Year. Seven years later, it is still popular.

The Times says it’s a top eleven coolest place. This area has the CH2 postcode. The newspaper liked its cool, independent spirit and the many cafes.

Chef Gary Usher helps make it great. You can eat at Sticky Walnut restaurant. Okells sells bread and coffee, and Little Yellow Pig has good brunches.
