Chris got CCTV footage showing a white BMW crashing into his parked car. The BMW driver then sped away, leaving no information behind. Chris reported the incident to the police, seeking restitution for the damage.
Chris had parked his car Friday night. The following Saturday, he discovered the extensive damage, noting his car was even up on the pavement. He obtained the CCTV footage from a nearby business, which police have since reviewed.
Police are actively investigating now. Chris is understandably upset about the damage to his practically brand-new car with 2024 plates and only 2,100 miles on it. The wheel is bent, and the back and side are smashed up.
The front alloys are wrecked from the impact, leading to concerns it might be a total loss. He is currently waiting to hear from his insurance company. He also learned from garage staff that this corner can be dangerous, and he wished the other driver had stopped.
Police confirmed they received a report about the damaged car on February 8, 2025, and are looking into it. Fortunately, nobody got hurt, and their investigation continues.
