A woman warns others about a bad experience. She visited Mam Tor, a scenic spot, on January 18th. She wanted to see the sunrise there.

She parked her car in a restricted zone. The spot seemed fine, but it was not. After her walk, she found damage and a parking ticket. She followed others, assuming it was okay to park there. The area was extremely crowded when she arrived; she regrets that decision now.

The woman posted a TikTok video about this issue. She hoped to prevent others from repeating her mistake. The car park fills up very early.

Drivers can park on Mam Tor road but she says they must use official spaces. Otherwise, they will get fines and upset locals. Castleton village has a safer car park.

A bus driver commented on the video. Buses need that road to do their job, and they had to reroute due to bad parking all day.

Recently, parking problems affected Peak District roads. Gritting got blocked by parked cars on January 11th because about 200 cars caused that problem.

People asked officials to fix the parking issue. They urged MPs and others to work together, hoping to solve this problem soon.
