Gwent Police used a helicopter after spotting cloned plates. Two were arrested following the chase from Crosskeys to Risca.

The car drove on Risca Road, and the driver did not stop for the police. The police helicopter helped officers from above.
The chase ended two miles away on Maryland Road in Risca. Police stopped the car and arrested two people.
Gwent Police reported the event, stating officers saw the cloned plates. Because the driver did not stop for them, the helicopter helped stop the car on Maryland Road.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man, who may have driven dangerously and while banned, He also had Class A and B drugs, and may have stolen the car. A 24-year-old woman was arrested, suspected of being in the car without permission and possessing a Class B drug.
Both suspects are at the police station. The police helicopter came from Almondsbury to help Gwent Police find the driver who did not stop for them. After two people left the car, the helicopter guided officers to them. The flight lasted 30 minutes.
