A woman died in her Hammersmith flat following a forced entry attempt. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police arrived quickly and went into the flat. They found the woman had died, and it looked like she had been hit on the head. A 38-year-old man was arrested there and is suspected of murder. The man is still in police custody now, and they have started a murder investigation.
The police have not told her family yet, and they also have to formally identify her. A post-mortem examination will happen soon as detectives are still looking into the events.
