The Piece Hall in Halifax got a big makeover in 2014. It cost £19 million. It reopened in 2017 with a new look, but still kept its original features.

This historic building is now a popular spot, hosting shops, restaurants, and bars. They also have summer concerts. Noel Gallagher, Bryan Adams, and Korn played there last year.

The town changed from a mill town, and is now a place for music. They announced top acts for 2025. What do locals think of the Piece Hall?

The center of town is now a music venue. Do they think it helps Halifax? Mary, 64, said it’s nicer now. She retired recently and looks forward to the summer concerts, particularly familiar artists.

The town upgraded several areas, and the bus station reopened last summer. Roadwork should improve traffic. People liked the summer gigs, but some want more events in quieter months.

They had Christmas markets during the holidays where small businesses sold their products. People were happy with the town, and the Piece Hall is a big reason why.

Kieran, 42, hopes it continues and wants bigger artists. He wants the place to keep running.

People think the town improves. With support, it could become a great venue. Top acts and fans might visit often.
