Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway spoke about knife crime. He said police work with local groups and Hackney Council to address knife crime’s causes and effects.
Conway urged young people to seek help. He wants them to talk about any pressure to carry a knife to trusted adults, like parents or teachers. This can get them safe support.
