Barbara passed away peacefully on February 2nd, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Stanley Brian, and a loving mother to John. Barbara was a grandma to Cameron, Kieron, and Emily (Bella and Natalie, partners), and a great-grandmother to Mercedes, Jax, and Finley. She will be missed by all who knew her. The service is February 24th at 11:15 am at Grimsby Crematorium.

Bill, aged 95, passed peacefully on February 6th, 2025. He lived in Barton-upon-Humber. He was the husband of the late Jean and a cherished dad to Colin and Alan. Gina and Judy are his dear daughters-in-law. Bill was a grandad, great-grandad, uncle, and friend, and will be sadly missed. The service is February 25th at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, at 2 pm. Donations go to The Living Later Life Well project.
Sarah, aged 39, passed on February 8th, 2025, in the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital. She was the loving daughter of Lesley and the late Darren; Ted was her devoted step-father. She was a mum to Connor, Jake, Oliver, Jamelia and Oscar. Gary and Rachel are her missed siblings. The service is March 10th, 2025 at 11:15 am at Grimsby Crematorium. Donations can go to the Intensive Therapy Unit at the hospital.
George Curtis passed on January 26th, 2025 at age 99, almost reaching 100. He was devoted to his late wife, Sylvia Mary. He was father to Christopher and Kenneth, and grandfather to Paula, Amy, and Samantha. His great-grandchildren are Sophie, Emily, Thomas, Vera, Declan, and Fred. The service is February 24th at 11:00 am at Broughton Methodist Chapel. Donations can remember George at the Chapel.
Colin passed away on February 2nd, 2025, aged 79, in the care of the Gardens Care Home. He was the husband of Jennie. Jody and Amy were his devoted daughters; Mike is his son-in-law. Ryan and Zac were his best “grumps.” David and Daisy are his dear siblings, and Trina is his sister-in-law. He was a gentleman to the end. A private service will occur.
Rosie (Cole) passed peacefully on February 1st, 2025, aged 46. Ian was her loving husband, and Poppy was her devoted daughter. William was her stepson. Sharon and Ray, plus Tony and Pat were her parents. Her siblings were Ledeyne, Lyndsay, Bradley, and Philip. The service is February 28th, 2025 at 2 pm at Woodlands Crematorium. Wear red or pink to honor Rosie. Donations help Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Hope House.
Thelma sadly passed on January 27th, 2025, aged 90, at The Diana Princess of Wales Hospital. She was the wife of the late Brian. She was a dearly loved mum and grandmother. She was also a good friend. The service is February 28th, 2025 at 3 pm at Grimsby Crematorium.
Francis Patrick Hayden passed, known to most as Frank, and some as Paddy. He was born in Dublin, February 25th 1943. He joined the RAF in 1964. Jackie was his wife of 59 years. He joined Grimsby Borough Police after the Air Force, retiring as Sergeant in 1994. He loved his golf club at Grimsby, later joining Waltham Windmill Golf Club, where the ceremonial “4 at 4” occurred Fridays. He is survived by Jackie and their children.
Maggie passed peacefully on January 31st, aged 88, and lived in Holton-le-Clay. She was the wife of the late Ray. David, Andrew, and Sharon were her loving children. Glenda, Tonia, and Steve are her dear in-laws. Hilda was her loved sister. She was a cherished nana, great nana, and auntie. The service takes place on February 28th, 2025 at 11:15 am at Grimsby Crematorium.
Malcolm passed on January 28th, 2025, at St Margaret’s Care Home. He was 92 and lived in Cleethorpes. Sadie was his beloved partner. Laureenie was his late wife. Jackie and Theresa were his loved daughters. Brian was his brother. Mark and Ian were his sons-in-law. He was well-known. The memorial service happens February 28th, 2025 at 1 pm at St Andrews Methodist Church.
David lost his battle on February 4th, 2025, at the age of 69. The service takes place March 4th, 2025 at 10 am at St Andrew’s Church, Kirton in Lindsey. Donations support children with spina bifida.
Betty passed peacefully February 1st, 2025, aged 96, and in Orchard Court Care Home. Fred was her beloved late husband. Susan, Berny, and Margaret were her loving daughters. Steve, Trevor and the late David were her dear sons-in-law. Andrew, Kate, Tom, Lizzee, Laura, and Louise were her treasured grandchildren. The Requiem Mass is March 4th at 11 am at St Mary’s RC Church, Brigg. Donations help Alzheimer’s UK.
Veilia passed on February 5th, 2025, aged 88, and at Royal Court Care Home. She was a very dearly loved wife and mum. The funeral is on February 25th, 2025 at 2 pm at St Giles Church Scartho. Donations may go to The Ark or Royal Court Care Home.
Colin passed on February 3rd, 2025, at home, aged 52. Alan and Karen were his much loved parents. Benjamin and Charlotte were his dear children. Katie and Nicola were his siblings. Jonathan passed on February 3rd, 2025, aged 85, and at Holly Tree Lodge Nursing Home. The funeral is February 27th, 2025 at 12 pm at St. Peter’s Church, Scotter. Donations remember Jonathan and go to Alzheimer’s Research U.K. and The British Heart Foundation.
Roland passed on January 26th, 2025, aged 94, at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The funeral is February 25th, 2025 at 11.30am at St Mary’s Church, Broughton. Donations honor Roland and support Cancer Research UK.
Pat passed at Scunthorpe General Hospital on January 25, 2025, aged 87. Tony was her loving late husband. Jacqueline & Janice were her daughters, and Graham & Colin were her sons-in-law. Rebecca, Steven, Hayley, Adam & Conor were her grandchildren. She was also a great Nana. A celebration is March 7, 2025 at 1pm at the Wortley House Hotel.
