Brothers’ drug operation spanned Liverpool to Plymouth. They exploited addicts for profit, leading to lengthy prison sentences.

Anthony and Brian Siner ran the “Scouse Dave” drug line, supplying drugs to Gosport and Plymouth. Anthony managed the Gosport drug trade, selling heroin and crack cocaine, while Brian ran the Plymouth operation from prison, already serving time for drug crimes.
They used addicts to sell drugs. At least 25kg of drugs went to Gosport, with Plymouth receiving about 9.6kg. Their crimes started years before, as they sold drugs in Liverpool initially.
Brian Siner had legal trouble early on. At 18, he got a community order because his car was used in a gas station burglary in 2001.
In 2003, Brian went to jail for three and a half years. He led a large crime group stealing luxury cars and selling them for over £1 million. Brian and an accomplice began this at age 16. Police officers infiltrated the gang by starting a car dealership.
In 2006, Brian was shot in the back outside his home.
Anthony had his first run-in with the law in 2008, receiving an ASBO. He was banned from city center nightspots after people said he intimidated bouncers.
Later, Brian led another drug gang based in Kensington. Undercover police took down the operation after the gang sold heroin and crack cocaine. Police seized almost 30,000 drug packages.
They lived luxuriously from selling drugs, living in fancy flats and driving expensive cars. A bank clerk and a boxer were also involved in the operation. An undercover officer bought drugs from them for 15 months, leading to Brian receiving a 14-year prison sentence in 2009.
Anthony stepped up when Brian went to jail and used Joseph Nee to help him. The judge criticized them for harming the community, stating that they only cared about making money.
After prison, Brian started a new scheme where he and Anthony worked together again, selling drugs across the country, specifically in Gosport and Plymouth. They operated the “Scouse Dave” line.
The brothers used addicts to sell drugs for them, leading to a police investigation of their drug network. Police seized 4kg of drugs and over £30,000, along with several weapons.
From 2022 to 2023, they sold lots of drugs. Gosport received at least 25kg of cocaine and heroin, and Plymouth got about 9.6kg. Police arrested Anthony and Brian.
Anthony got 17 years and 7 months in jail, while Brian received 15 years and 9 months. Gareth Roberts, a courier, got 6 years and 9 months, and Lee Illingworth received a suspended sentence.
The judge said they ran a professional drug network and exploited vulnerable people, making them sell drugs. Twelve more gang members will be sentenced soon.
