Resident fears injury from stray balls as Time Golf Centre plans Blackpool themed course.

This golf center is called Time Golf Centre. They want to build a twelve-hole course with a Blackpool theme. They hope to attract younger players.
Around 180 people wrote to the council. Most support the new mini golf project. Two councilors also support the plan. They think it will help local youth.
One councilor finds the plan inspiring and believes it will be easy for all kids to use, including children with disabilities. Another councilor thinks it’s a great opportunity for people to walk there and get active, encouraging more people to golf.
About ten people object to the mini golf plan because they live close to the golf course. They worry about noise and golf balls. One person said a golf club landed in their yard. Another worries about getting hit by a ball, mentioning a friend lost an eye this way.
The golf course has been there since 1968. Andy Lee has managed it since 2012. The council owns the land. Council planners will decide on the plan later. The application number is 24/0703.
