A shopkeeper was hurt after a gang of teens stormed his store in Ruchill, Glasgow, causing damage and stealing merchandise.

The store is on Bilsland Drive. This happened around 7 pm Friday, February 21. A staff member got hurt. A teen group rampaged inside. The man went to the hospital. He needed treatment for facial injuries.
Police arrived at the scene after a call. They said nothing was happening then. Now, they have started an investigation. The staff member was allegedly hit in the face.
CCTV footage showed ten or more teens. They were outside before a fight began. Six teens entered the store at first. Three teens circled the shopkeeper. He pushed them out.
The staff member tried to protect himself. He chased the group with a large stick. Then, they came back and attacked the shop front. The owner said the staff was hit. Others stormed through the store. They knocked things behind the till down. Bottles were smashed too.
About £500 worth of stock disappeared. They stole alcohol, vapes, and juice. The owners shared the footage. They want to catch those responsible. They warned other businesses. “Stay vigilant,” they said.
