Hey, guess what happened in Glasgow? There was a fire at Mother India restaurant. It’s on Westminster Terrace. The fire happened this morning, February 23, around 10:40 AM. People living in the flats above had to leave.

The police closed some streets, including Sauchiehall Street between Derby Street and North Claremont Street. Firefighters worked to stop the fire. No one knows yet if anyone got hurt, and they also don’t know what started the fire.

Police put up tape on the street, and emergency vehicles were present. Police said they got a call about the fire around 11:15 AM. Several roads are now closed because of it, including Kelvingrove Street, Westminster Terrace, and Parkgrove Terrace.

Police asked people to stay away from the area. The fire service said they knew about the fire at 10:48 AM. The fire was on the ground floor of the building, where the restaurant is located.

Four fire engines went to the restaurant. Firefighters put the fire out by 12:48 PM. One fire engine stayed to check for any possible spread of the fire.
