A man and woman face charges after armed police responded to a report of a serious assault in a Glasgow flat.

Police went to Carntyne Road around 5:30 PM on Saturday, February 15th. They got a report about a person’s safety. A man was badly hurt inside an apartment. The injured man is 34 years old, and they took him to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. He needed medical care after the event.
A man, age 57, and a woman, age 39, face charges which relate to what happened. Their court date is Monday, February 17th at Glasgow Sheriff Court. The procurator fiscal will receive a report. Someone who saw it said many police cars were there, counting about eleven police vehicles.
Police confirmed the arrests and charges. The incident involved concern for a person, and a man got seriously hurt in a flat on Carntyne Road on February 15, 2025. Officers went to the flat and assisted the 34-year-old injured man. He was transported to the hospital. The 57-year-old man and the 39-year-old woman will appear in court.
