Daniel Dolan was brutally attacked at Possilpark Station in Glasgow. He suffered serious injuries and is lucky to be alive.

Daniel suffered face fractures and dislocated his shoulder. Emergency crews rushed to help him. They took Daniel to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
His face injuries are quite severe, and pictures show deep cuts. His niece, Sheryl, spoke about the incident, saying Daniel is lucky to be alive. She described the event as very scary.
Sheryl said her uncle was on a train, having boarded at Ashfield station, one stop before Possilpark. A man sat next to him there. He started to ramble and wrongly accused Daniel of breaking into houses. Sheryl said Daniel is quiet and tried to calm things down.
Daniel was going to see his brother when the man came up to him on the train. As Daniel tried to exit the train before the stop at Possilpark, the man began punching him. The doors opened at the station, and the man followed Daniel off the train, then relentlessly attacked him some more.
The man repeatedly punched Daniel’s face, causing him to fall to the ground. Then, the man started stomping on his head. Sheryl said he could have easily killed Daniel and that her uncle is fortunate to have survived.
Sheryl mentioned Daniel has COPD and suffers from brittle bones, meaning his health isn’t great anyway. This attack could have been fatal, after which he was rushed to the Glasgow hospital.
The man left Daniel on the platform, lying in a bloody heap. Sheryl said the attacker ran toward Lambhill. Station staff described the attacker to Sheryl. They said he was white with a tan and believe he was around 40 to 50 years old, wearing a Canada Goose jacket.
Sheryl is grateful for the police, saying the officers were first on the scene. A passer-by helped Daniel on the ground. Sheryl’s mother was contacted and was told Daniel had simply fallen down. Sheryl went to the station swiftly.
Police informed Sheryl that it was a crime scene, which is when she learned Daniel was attacked. Police aided Daniel right away, wrapping him in a foil blanket to keep him warm. An ambulance was delayed, so police drove Sheryl and Daniel to the hospital.
She stayed there until 11 p.m. and called the hospital that morning. They moved him to a ward room now. Although his injuries are bad, he should be okay. Sheryl requests any witnesses to speak up and urges them to call the police.
A British Transport Police spokesperson commented that they responded to an incident at Possilpark Station on February 21 at 3:20 p.m. They offered no further details then.
