Police are investigating a murder in Glasgow. Forensic officers are searching a house on Monar Street, in Possil. James Jarvis, age 55, was found dead inside. Police arrived at the house around 9:20 AM on March 5.

Crime scene specialists are at the scene wearing white suits, gloves, and masks. They are searching the property’s driveway. A police officer guards the area, and a cordon surrounds the house and driveway.

Detectives want to know Jarvis’s movements. They found his car, a black VW Golf, on Auckland Street half a mile away. The car was found at 7:20 AM, Wednesday. Police are focusing on that area now and ask the public for help.

Detective Chief Inspector McCreadie spoke, saying his thoughts are with Jarvis’s family. He wants answers for them quickly and asks anyone with information to contact police. He needs to find who is responsible fast.

Police want private CCTV or dash-cam footage from Monar Street and Auckland Street, and the surrounding area. They want to see anything helpful.
