Sophie Nutter is jailed for pressuring her boyfriend, drug dealer Jack Walker, to answer customer calls about heroin and crack cocaine.

Nutter, 32, and Jack Walker, 29, admitted guilt for supplying heroin and crack cocaine and possessing cocaine to sell. Walker also hit and spat on officers. Police found their drug operation in Beverley, and Nutter bought phone credit for it.
Police searched the Lazaat Hotel and found Nutter and Walker in bed. They found bags of cocaine worth £1,440, white powder, and £105 cash. The drug phone had many related messages advertising heroin and crack cocaine.
Nutter sent Walker drug-related texts, including one that read, “Josh wants 3 for 100.” She helped with drug deliveries and texted him, “Why aren’t you answering?”. She also said, “Your sales, they’re ringing me,” because customers called her when he wasn’t working.
Nutter told Walker, “You are not doing your sales,” and asked, “You got any stone left? Someone wants.” Walker mainly ran the drug line, with Nutter helping him in different ways.
Walker attacked officers during his arrest, hitting one and spitting at another. He tried to run away from them but stayed silent when police questioned him. Nutter denied any drug involvement, and they expected a lot of money.
Nutter and Walker were sentenced before in 2020 for drug crimes. Walker received two years and eight months, while Nutter received a suspended sentence. Nutter didn’t start the drug line; Walker ran the drug operation then, and she helped him for about five weeks.
She started dating Walker, who brought her into the drug world. She regrets her past and new drug crimes. Nutter has a 14-year-old son, worked part-time, trained in aesthetics, and broke up with Walker.
Walker mainly ran the drug operation, and Nutter sent him demanding texts. He has now been in jail for five months and has learned maths and English inside, as he wants a trade after prison.
The judge said Nutter directed drug sales and pushed Walker when his phone was off, causing people to call her instead of him. Nutter was jailed for three years, and Walker was jailed for four and a half years.
