R & R Cafe in Gedling was vandalised Friday night while owner Beccy Webster was in London filming “The Last Leg.”

Beccy was in London filming “The Last Leg” for Channel 4 when she heard the news. News of the damage saddened her, but she doesn’t want it to hurt her business. She wants to continue as best as she can.
She appeared as a mystery guest. Adam Hills hosted with Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker. Guests tried guessing why she made the news, which involved a pub promotion the past week.
The Gedling Inn offered free beer for each Forest goal against Brighton. Forest won 7-0, resulting in 300 free beers! News of this reached New Zealand, and Forest legend John McGovern visited.
“The Last Leg” gave false options, like a book club brawl about Richard Osman’s book, and drunk rats ruining the beer. The real answer was indeed the beer promotion.
Beccy runs the pub and cafe with the help of her partner, Cassian Prime. She said the TV appearance was fun. Her friend replaced the door’s glass quickly, but the window still needs fixing.
The cafe opened despite the damage, though she worries about scaring customers away. The repairs will cost £800-£900, which is tough for a small cafe. It hurts when people don’t think, she stated.
