Elaine Ruth Barlow (nee Williams) was 99 and the wife of the late Jim Barlow. Jane Smelt was her adored daughter, and Simon was her son-in-law. She was born in Heworth, York, and was one of Wilfred & Daisy William’s five children. The cremation is March 4 at 1:30pm at Stockton Crematorium. Donations go to Great North Air Ambulance.
Geoffrey Barnes died February 19, 2025. He was 86 and at home in Florida. He worked in engineering and moved to Canada, then to America. He loved different cultures but missed England and was a fan of MFC. His sons are Paul and Philip, and the family dog was Schatzi.
Irene Bellamy died suddenly at home in Redcar on February 16th. She was 90 years old, and the wife of the late Bob. Heather and Richard are her children and Simon and Muz were her children’s spouses. She was a grandma and great-grandma. The funeral is February 28th at 1:00 pm at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
William Thomas (Bill) Clayton died peacefully at home after a short illness on February 17th. Bill was 85 years old, and a friend to Evie and her family. He was a friend to many. The funeral is March 14th at 11:00 am at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations may go to Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust.
Mavis Close (nee Sturdy) died at home on February 20, 2025. She was 82 years old, and the wife of the late Joe. James Edward (Jimmy) Cook died peacefully at Ascot Nursing Home on February 20 aged 72 years old. He was the husband of Jackie, and Steven and Jayne were his children. Anne Crowe (McConnell) died in the hospital on January 17th aged 73 years old. She lived in Redcar, and Patrick and Mary McConnell were her parents. She had seven siblings. Audrey Dick (Nee Doherty) died in the hospital on February 14th. Audrey was 87 years old, and the wife of the late Bob. Mark was her son and Kelli was her child’s spouse. Olive Margaret (Olive or Lol) Dunning died peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2025 aged 92. Howard Dunning was her devoted husband, and John, Ian, and Mark were her children. Daniel, Kristan, Callum, Leah, Laura & James were her grandchildren. Finley, Oakley, Jaycie, Freya, Albie, Lily & Grayson were her great-grandchildren. Robert Maurice (Bob) Dyke died suddenly from a stroke on February 14, 2025 aged 73 years old. This occurred at North Tees Hospital. He had dementia in 2024. Barbara Dyke was his devoted wife, and James Robert Dyke was his son. Cara Dyke-Gilliver was his granddaughter. Janet, Joanne and Evelyn were also his sisters. Kelly Marie Hanratty passed away on February 15th aged 43 years old. She was a mother to Cory, Ellis, and Brogan. She was a respected mother-in-law to Jem, and Gabriella & Nolan were her children. Nirvana-Sophia and Daisy were her treasured granddaughters. Nicola was her sister. Kelly was also the partner of Colin, and the daughter of Ian and the late Lesley. Marjorie Woodwark Harrison died in the hospital on February 20th 2025 aged 98 years old. Patricia and Anita were her nieces. She was a great aunt, great great aunt and friend. The service is March 12th at 11:30am in St Hilda’s Chapel.
Norma Joyce Hutchcraft (nee. Rayner) passed away peacefully in her own home at age 79. Her loving family surrounded her. Barry, who is deceased was her husband, and Julie and Katy were her daughters. Keith Macartney passed away tragically on February 11th 2025 aged 41 years old. Trevor and Jackie were his parents. Louise was his devoted partner and Theresa was his mother-in-law. Michael Maloney passed away peacefully at home on the 10th February 2025, aged 61 years old. He was a father to Marcus, Richard and Alex. Tracey and Charlotte were his children’s spouses. Lucas, Jake, Sofia, James and Jessica were his grandchildren. February 28 services will be held. Maureen Mansfield (nee Hart) passed away peacefully on February 19th, aged 90 years old. She lived in Coulby Newham. The late Norman was her husband, and Clevent, Julie and Kev were her children. Hazel, Paul and Alicia were her children’s spouses. She was a Nana, Great-Nana, Great-Great-Nana and Sister. The service is March 5th at 11am at St Bede’s Chapel. James (Jim) McQuade passed away on February 9th aged 72 years old. Jim will be sadly missed, he was a kind and loving friend. The graveside service is March 3rd at 12 noon at Stokesley Cemetery.
Geraldine Margaret Mary Morgan (nee McLeary) died in the hospital on February 21st. Geraldine was 91 years old. The late Reg was her spouse, and Russell and Glenn were her children. Lorna Noteyoung died suddenly February 25th aged 86 years old. Jim and Mark are her much loved children, and she was also a Grandma. Lisa and Yvonne were her child’s spouses. The service is held at the St Augustine Church on March 14th. Donation is welcome to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Marjorie Ethel Nuttall, aged 93, of Linthorpe passed peacefully January 31, 2025. John and Marjorie Hamer were her parents. David and Jonathan are her surviving sons. Her granddaughter is Izzy, and great grandson is Arthur. Her sister is Audrey, with family, service is held at St. Bede’s Chapel March 18th. Eileen O’Donnell died peacefully February 21st. She passed in Middlesbrough Grange Care Home, aged 84. Jim died before her. Ann and Teresa were her daughters. John and Jo (deceased) were her childrens spouses. The funeral is March 11th at 10.30am. St Hilda Teesside Crematorium hosts it.
Veronica (Vera) Owens (Bolam) sadly passed away aged 96 years old. Vera died on February 10th 2025. She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. The funeral will take place March 4th. Service will be held at St Peter and Paul’s Church. Donations to The Dogs Trust is appreciated.
Jaqueline (Jackie) Poppleton died unexpectedly on February 16th. She passed at home in Thornaby, aged 56. She’s survived by daughters Gemma & Sherry. Her mother is Freda, David (deceased). Richard Louis Pratt passed away peacefully at James Cook Hospital, age 93. Thanks to all involved staff. Emily (Pat) was devoted. The service is March 5th, at 11:30am. It will be at St. Hilda’s Chapel.

Kenneth Bert Thurlow passed away with the people with him at Roseleigh Care Home in February 2025. Her beautiful wedding was celebrated on March 10, 14:00. The venue is there at Bedes Chapel. Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served at Middlesbrough.
Brenda Turner Peacefully lived at Mandale Home and passed on in February. The services are at March Services will begin at March St. Hilda’s Chapel and the ceremonies start at 1:30 in the afternoon.
