Here are some notices from earlier this week. John George Bailey died in the hospital on February 16, 2025. He was 87 years old. He was the husband of the late Joan, and a dad to Michelle and Juliet.

Allan & Eddie were his sons-in-law, and he was a grandad and great-grandad. The funeral is March 18 at 11am at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations may be made for Parkinson’s UK.

Elaine Ruth Barlow (nee Williams) was 99 and the wife of the late Jim Barlow. Jane Smelt was her adored daughter, and Simon was her son-in-law. She was born in Heworth, York, and was one of Wilfred & Daisy William’s five children. The cremation is March 4 at 1:30pm at Stockton Crematorium. Donations go to Great North Air Ambulance.

Geoffrey Barnes died February 19, 2025. He was 86 and at home in Florida. He worked in engineering and moved to Canada, then to America. He loved different cultures but missed England and was a fan of MFC. His sons are Paul and Philip, and the family dog was Schatzi.

Irene Bellamy died suddenly at home in Redcar on February 16th. She was 90 years old, and the wife of the late Bob. Heather and Richard are her children and Simon and Muz were her children’s spouses. She was a grandma and great-grandma. The funeral is February 28th at 1:00 pm at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

William Thomas (Bill) Clayton died peacefully at home after a short illness on February 17th. Bill was 85 years old, and a friend to Evie and her family. He was a friend to many. The funeral is March 14th at 11:00 am at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations may go to Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust.

Mavis Close (nee Sturdy) died at home on February 20, 2025. She was 82 years old, and the wife of the late Joe. Her children are Stephen, Susan, Mike, Paul, and Chris, and she was a grandma and great-grandma. The funeral is March 7th at 1:00 pm at Kirkleatham Memorial Park. Donations may go to Zoe’s Place.

James Edward (Jimmy) Cook died peacefully at Ascot Nursing Home on February 20 aged 72 years old. He was the husband of Jackie, and Steven and Jayne were his children. Mark was his child’s spouse, and he was a grandad to Olivia, Joseph and Emilia. The service is March 6th at 11:30 am at St Hilda’s Chapel. Donations may go to Cancer Research UK.

Annmarie Crosby died in the hospital on February 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. Annmarie was 39 years old, and was a daughter, sister, and aunt, and a friend to many people. The service is March 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at Kirkleatham Memorial Park. Make donations to Annmarie’s favorite places.

Anne Crowe (McConnell) died in the hospital on January 17th aged 73 years old. She lived in Redcar, and Patrick and Mary McConnell were her parents. She had seven siblings. Karen and Vincent were her kids, and she was a grandmother of three. The service is February 12 at 10:00 am at Kirkleatham Memorial Park. Donations may go to Zoe’s Place.

Audrey Dick (Nee Doherty) died in the hospital on February 14th. Audrey was 87 years old, and the wife of the late Bob. Mark was her son and Kelli was her child’s spouse. She was a grandma to Savannah and Mackenzie. The funeral is February 27th at 1pm. Services are at St John’s Church. Donations may go to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Ann Dixon passed away peacefully at Yew Tree Care Home on February 20th. Ann was 87 years old. Maurice was her husband, and Martin, Allan, and Trevor were her children. Jacky, Michelle, and Lisa were her children’s spouses. She was a grandma and great-grandma. The funeral is March 7th at 4pm at Kirkleatham Memorial Park. Donations may go to Take Heart.

Ann Dixon (nee Teasdale) died at Yewtree Care Home in Redcar on February 19th. Edwin was her brother and Lilian was her child’s spouse. Christopher and Shelley were her nephew and his wife. Charlotte, Harry, and Freddie were great nieces/nephews. She will be loved and missed.

Olive Margaret (Olive or Lol) Dunning died peacefully surrounded by family on January 25, 2025 aged 92. Howard Dunning was her devoted husband, and John, Ian, and Mark were her children. Daniel, Kristan, Callum, Leah, Laura & James were her grandchildren. Finley, Oakley, Jaycie, Freya, Albie, Lily & Grayson were her great-grandchildren. The funeral is March 20 at 11am at Kirkleatham Memorial Park. Donations may go to Alzheimer’s Society.

Janice Elizabeth Dye (nee Watson) died on February 17th aged 88 years old. Ron was her late husband, and Stephen and Alison were her children. Christine and Geoff were her children’s spouses. She was a grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend. The service is March 10th at 2:30pm at the Bluebell Chapel. Donations may go to the blind society.

Robert Maurice (Bob) Dyke died suddenly from a stroke on February 14, 2025 aged 73 years old. This occurred at North Tees Hospital. He had dementia in 2024. Barbara Dyke was his devoted wife, and James Robert Dyke was his son. Cara Dyke-Gilliver was his granddaughter. Janet, Joanne and Evelyn were also his sisters. The funeral is March 5, 2025 at 1:30pm at Bluebell Chapel. Donations may go to Dementia UK.

Anne Ferguson passed away peacefully in hospital, aged 71 years old. Gavin was her beloved husband, and Richard and Anthony were her children. Walter and Sarah were her parents, and June and Olwyn were her sisters. Annaliese, Charlie, Lilly, Tom and Pippa were her grandchildren. The funeral is March 14th at 11am at Stockton Crematorium. Susan (Sue) Forrest (Watson) died peacefully on February 14, 2025, aged 72 years old. Stuart was her beloved husband, and John and Helen were her children. Donna and Steven were her children’s spouses. Wilfred, Rowan and Meredith were her grandchildren. Services are March 6th at 1pm in St Bede’s Chapel. Donations may go to NHS Blood and Transplant.

Peter Oswald Fulton passed away peacefully in the hospital on February 14, 2025, aged 88 years old. Pat was his beloved wife, and Clare, Kate and Rachel were his daughters. He was a grandad, father-in-law, brother and uncle. The service is March 7, 2025 at 11:30am at Sacred Heart church in Redcar. Donations go to Zoe’s Place hospice.

John Robert Gill died suddenly February 17th aged 87 years old. Enid was his devoted wife, and Ian and Elizabeth were his children. He was a father-in-law and grandad as well as a brother and uncle. The service is March 7th at 2pm in St Bedes Chapel. Wear red or a Boro shirt for John. Donations may go to the Coronary Care Unit.

Ann Grayson passed away peacefully on February 5th at North Tees Hospital, aged 80 years old. The late Ronald was her devoted husband, and David and Karen were her children. Tina and Paul were her children’s spouses. She was a grandma to Michael and Matthew, and a great grandma. The service is March 4, 2025 at 11:30am at St Hilda’s Chapel. Margaret Maud Green (nee Wilson) passed away peacefully on February 14th aged 91 years old. The late Ray was her devoted husband, and Gillian and Graham were her children. Joe and Andrea were her child’s spouses. Sarah, Rachael, Elizabeth and Christopher were her grandchildren. The service is March 3 at 2:15pm at St Margaret’s Church. Kelly Marie Hanratty passed away on February 15th aged 43 years old. She was a mother to Cory, Ellis, and Brogan. She was a respected mother-in-law to Jem, and Gabriella & Nolan were her children. Nirvana-Sophia and Daisy were her treasured granddaughters. Nicola was her sister. Kelly was also the partner of Colin, and the daughter of Ian and the late Lesley. The service is February 27th at 1pm at St George’s Church. Donations go to Teesside Hospice.

Marjorie Woodwark Harrison died in the hospital on February 20th 2025 aged 98 years old. Patricia and Anita were her nieces. She was a great aunt, great great aunt and friend. The service is March 12th at 11:30am in St Hilda’s Chapel.

Norma Joyce Hutchcraft (nee. Rayner) passed away peacefully in her own home at age 79. Her loving family surrounded her. Barry, who is deceased was her husband, and Julie and Katy were her daughters. Stephen and Richard were her sons-in-law. Brandon, Morgan and Francesca were her cherished grandchildren. The service is March 6th, at 10am at Stockton Parish Church. Donations may go to Marie Curie & St Michael’s Hospice.

Peter (Pete) Law passed away peacefully in the hospital on February 21st, aged 72 years old. Anne was his dearly loved wife, and Dean and Caroline were his children. Mandy and Paul were his children’s spouses. Pat was his loving sister. Arran and George were his grand kids. The service is March 10th at 11:30am in St Hilda’s Chapel.

Keith Macartney passed away tragically on February 11th 2025 aged 41 years old. Trevor and Jackie were his parents. Louise was his devoted partner and Theresa was his mother-in-law. Lacey and Keason were his children. Declan, Josh and Kyle were stepsons. The service is March 6th at 11:00am. Donations may go to The Air Ambulance Service.

Michael Maloney passed away peacefully at home on the 10th February 2025, aged 61 years old. He was a father to Marcus, Richard and Alex. Tracey and Charlotte were his children’s spouses. Lucas, Jake, Sofia, James and Jessica were his grandchildren. February 28 services will be held. Kirkleatham Crematorium will host the ceremony at 3:00 p.m. Donations go to the British Heart Foundation.

Maureen Mansfield (nee Hart) passed away peacefully on February 19th, aged 90 years old. She lived in Coulby Newham. The late Norman was her husband, and Clevent, Julie and Kev were her children. Hazel, Paul and Alicia were her children’s spouses. She was a Nana, Great-Nana, Great-Great-Nana and Sister. The service is March 5th at 11am at St Bede’s Chapel. Donations may go to Fountains Court Residents Fund.

James (Jim) McQuade passed away on February 9th aged 72 years old. Jim will be sadly missed, he was a kind and loving friend. The graveside service is March 3rd at 12 noon at Stokesley Cemetery.

Geraldine Margaret Mary Morgan (nee McLeary) died in the hospital on February 21st. Geraldine was 91 years old. The late Reg was her spouse, and Russell and Glenn were her children. Val and Julie were her child’s spouses. She partnered with Michael and had other family. Services take place in March at RC Church. Donations can go to The Stroke Ward.

Lorna Noteyoung died suddenly February 25th aged 86 years old. Jim and Mark are her much loved children, and she was also a Grandma. Lisa and Yvonne were her child’s spouses. The service is held at the St Augustine Church on March 14th. Donation is welcome to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Marjorie Ethel Nuttall, aged 93, of Linthorpe passed peacefully January 31, 2025. John and Marjorie Hamer were her parents. David and Jonathan are her surviving sons. Her granddaughter is Izzy, and great grandson is Arthur. Her sister is Audrey, with family, service is held at St. Bede’s Chapel March 18th. Eileen O’Donnell died peacefully February 21st. She passed in Middlesbrough Grange Care Home, aged 84. Jim died before her. Ann and Teresa were her daughters. John and Jo (deceased) were her childrens spouses. The funeral is March 11th at 10.30am. St Hilda Teesside Crematorium hosts it.

Veronica (Vera) Owens (Bolam) sadly passed away aged 96 years old. Vera died on February 10th 2025. She was a loving Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. The funeral will take place March 4th. Service will be held at St Peter and Paul’s Church. Donations to The Dogs Trust is appreciated.

Jaqueline (Jackie) Poppleton died unexpectedly on February 16th. She passed at home in Thornaby, aged 56. She’s survived by daughters Gemma & Sherry. Her mother is Freda, David (deceased). Service to take place March 7th. The service is at the Maplewood Chapel. Donations go to Crake and Mallon Funeral Service.

Richard Louis Pratt passed away peacefully at James Cook Hospital, age 93. Thanks to all involved staff. Emily (Pat) was devoted. The service is March 5th, at 11:30am. It will be at St. Hilda’s Chapel.

Jeffrey (Jeff) Probst passed December 4th February, surrounded by family at Haxby Hall Care. Jeff was aged 85 years old. Margaret McConnell Probst was his spouse. Julie and Heidi was their children. Family will hold services at Emmanuel Church March 18th. Donation if desired, go to Alzheimer’s Society.

Jean Reed passed away on February 16th aged 72 years old. She was the wife of Dave. Craig and Kerry were her loving children. Marty was her child’s spouse. Megan, Millie, Billie, Grayson and Harley are her grandchildren. Service will occur March 14, at 11.00am. It’s at Teesside Crematorium, St Bede chapel.

Mary Elizabeth Reyer Passed died peacefully February 11th. Mary was 90 years old. The late John was her soulmate. William, Edward and Ben were her children. Thomas, Holly, Harvey, Jessica, Jack and Oliver were her grandchildren. The service is March 6th at 12.15pm. A service will be held at St Mary Cathedral. Her final resting place will be at Redcar Cemetery.

Valerie Robinson died peacefully in Parkville Care Home on February 6th aged 83 years old. Services will be held at St Bede Chapel March 4th. The service will begin at 9:30. Cremation at the Teesside Crematorium.

Sheila Mary Sandbach passed on February 11th aged 96 years old. Sandy, her husband. It will be held at March 6th at the St. Donations gratefully accepted.

Arthur Seaman passed February 11th and was the beloved husband of Marie. He was a Father to Michael and the grandad of Benji and Phoebe. Arthur will be missed. The service will be held March 6th and start at 12:45 pm. It is in St. Mary’s Church .

Janice Stewart passed. With sadness we announce the passing of Janice. Janice Passed February 22, aged 69. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret. Services are held at St Andrew and St George on March 17th. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made.

Paul Tetley was peaceful at home on February 18th with family. He was 56 years old. Friends and family for March 4th. Service will occur at Hilda Chapel. Donations can go to Cancer Research UK.

Marilyn Ethel Thomas passed on away Monday February 17th and was with Jame Cook Hospital at 75 years. Helen and Michael are her childern and late David. The service is at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Donations will be received by donations from Cancer Research UK .

Kenneth Bert Thurlow passed away with the people with him at Roseleigh Care Home in February 2025. Her beautiful wedding was celebrated on March 10, 14:00. The venue is there at Bedes Chapel. Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served at Middlesbrough.

Brenda Turner Peacefully lived at Mandale Home and passed on in February. The services are at March Services will begin at March St. Hilda’s Chapel and the ceremonies start at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Ian Turner Wallis peacefully passed at his home on February 6 2025. Many people can all remember and celebrate their lives. There will be donations to heart foundation. Service is occurring March 4 for 1:30. Venue will be Christ Church will the cremation after.

Phyllis Mary Waterfield died passed Thurday, February 13 to be with her family. Service start at Services are beginnning soon, in March. Donations if they can be made to McCmillan. Meet everyone at the chapel.

Peter Weatherly peacefully remained in the hospital during mid february. His services were at the Chapel fo Hilda, Teesside. They will start at at 9:45 at his crematorion chapol. His life celebrated with donations after that and during it.

Great Willis peacefully went on from Wellburns. She died in stockton, and February, and 94 years later. Ken, Beloved husband of hers followed so fast. Funerel services start on Hildas chapel. People will meet at teesside cremotrium.

Phillip (PIP) Callaghan will be remembered as a Memory of a loving Dad and loving friend. The very beautiful brother and great dog.

Peter Greenwood died 12/03 , memory will keep you always near, remembered. Jackie was remember for 3 whole years of memories. Love will always remember her, with heartache that never ends to go away.

Ann Kulscar has a beautiful birthday as much love will never leave the world from her memory.
