A man in his late 20s is in custody after a stabbing in Stoneybatter, Dublin 7 that injured three men yesterday afternoon.

The victims’ ages are from their mid-20s to mid-40s. All three went to the hospital for treatment. Two men have serious, but not deadly, injuries. The other man’s injuries are less serious.
Police arrested a man in his late 20s. He’s at a police station in north Dublin now. An officer initially stopped him near the scene. The officer wasn’t armed.
The police want people to feel safe, so they increased police presence in the area. Officers examined several locations in Stoneybatter.
