Someone in Galway thanked a stranger’s kindness. This person wanted to recognize her mom’s special Valentine’s Day. The mom received a rose from a ‘lovely lady’ on Seamus Quirke Road. The resident wanted to express their appreciation and posted a message online for the lady.

The post was a shout-out to the generous stranger, hoping the woman would see it. It expressed gratitude for making their mom’s day better. “Thank you!” they posted online.

A Galway pub had anniversary celebrations recently. Jim Petes Pub in Glenamaddy sold cheap Guinness. Pints cost only five cents during their anniversary celebration which took place Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16. This marked 80 years of serving drinks.

They offered Guinness and Guinness 00 on tap. Saturday hours for the promotion were 8 PM to 9 PM, and Sunday hours were 6 PM to 7 PM. The celebration included music, food, and drink promotions. The owners celebrated with friends and customers, with a music session happening 5 PM to 8 PM.
